The Zeitlyn Training Fund is committed to providing opportunities in East Anglia for professional development and learning about the practice and application of psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapy and Jungian Analysis.
A tradition of Saturday morning lectures and seminars goes back to Bernard Zeitlyn and was one of several popular teaching forums that he inaugurated and which the Training Fund continues to offer three to four times a year.
A leading psychoanalyst is invited to share their special area of clinical experience and application of theory. After the lecture, the audience has an opportunity to raise questions and discuss with the speaker.
Often a lunch is provided so there is time to talk together and meet old and new colleagues and to ‘network’.
The Training Fund also holds a Biennial Commemorative Lecture: The Bernard Zeitlyn Memorial Lecture.
All of these events are open to anyone interested in mental health issues.
They are especially suitable for psychotherapists, counsellors, doctors, nurses and social workers.
